I'm pretty sure this one is @ameliarating's fault, but then she did go and beta it for me too. Sometimes you set out to write smut and it ends up being about unresolved issues. And by that I mean mostly that's what happens, at least to me.
After spending most of its lifetime simply titled "bottom vegas fic" this almost ended up titled "shredded lettuce" after the Tumblr post reading "call my man shredded lettuce because he be a sub topping." Just so you know.

#txt#i started this blog with lotsa cas & now im posting jimmy nd darlin and i love them dearly#bUt#im a gameplayer im not a cas person im def not a builder;;#& yes the duttons ARE a gameplay. series ? but theres truly almost no gameplay in ts4#and i do want to include some story elements i wanted to work on darlins character bio today#but it feels so unnatural and foreign to me#partly in a new and exciting way bc yeah!!!! trying new things!!!! wooo!!!!#(thats why i started this legacy in the first place)#but also. coming back to ts3 after 5 months it really put into perspective how lackluster the gameplay in ts4 is to me#dont get me wrong i used to love it i used to have multiple legacies i got to gen 6 with#which is a big accomplishment to me#& i used to have so many fleshed out sims just by the magic of playing with them and my silly little brain#but. i feel like im putting too much pressure on myself with jimmy bc he means so much to me i want him to be the best sim ive ever played#and to be distinct and like a. uuum. primary figure on my blog lmao#like when u think of me u think of jimmy even years down the line. or whatever#but thats so much pressure and GAHHGHH#the urge to post filler content from the duttons up until the point i figure myself tf out is real but also.#i dont wanna do that i dont want jimmy to be filler#-___-augh god#if you actually read this all have a tulip 🌷 . ily. some advice or words of wisdom or reassurance would be greatly appreciated

Ough. Post-session fatigue is hitting harder than usual today.
#i think it's because it's um. a friday after school. and also we picked up after like a 2 month hiatus. and also it's my new player group#as much as i love them (truly they are Amazing players in terms of creativity and roleplay and scheduling and such) it is a little...#it feels like higher stress because i want to match their level of detail and like... creativity (which i did)#but also i want to make sure that they are having fun which like. dms always want to do. but them especially#bc this is their first experience w/ dnd and i don't want to turn them off it. bc your first dm can really make or break it yk?#but like hhhhh after my players left i just. kinda cried. and it's wild bc it was a good session and they said that they enjoyed it#but the crash was still So real. also like explaining the rules (it was our first combat they know the rules In Theorybut yk how it is)#like tbh explaining the rules wasn't even that bad it was just. i think it was also just i was tired bc of school#(tbh this year i've just gone home midday on fridays bc i get so exhausted on them) and also first sess in a while and cetera#anyway i'm feeling a little better now bc i talked w/ one of my players and she was like. enthusing abt it. and i listened to good music#but like. wooo. that was a REALLY bad post sess crash i haven't felt that bad in ages#d&D#dante dicit#might delete#dming#dm'ing#dungeon master#dm#dungeons and dragons
